Ångström Explanatorium

Ångström Explanatorium is an interactive exhibition where you can explore scientific and technical phenomena.

Interactive and historical exhibition

Welcome to discover science, technology and mathematics! The exploratory exhibition consists of both a historical and an interactive part. Here, as a visitor, you can experience research and science examples by feeling, experiencing and performing.

Ångström Explanatorium shows experiments linked to technology and science. The exhibition is created in collaboration with seven departments at Uppsala University: physics and astronomy, electrical engineering, information technology, chemistry, mathematics, materials science and social construction and industrial technology. The space stand is developed by the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics and the Institute of Space Physics, IRF in Kiruna.

The exhibition is new and we plan to receive visits on a small scale during the latter part of the autumn semester 2022.
