You can download existing images and photographs, or order new ones from our photographers and illustrators.
All images publicly available from the University’s image bank may be used freely, provided Uppsala University will be the sender of the product where the image is being used. Login using your userID@user.uu.se and password A.

Historical images, reproductions of objects, cultural heritage materials and more can be found in the University library database, Alvin. - Take your own photographs
Remember to ask the people you are photographing. Avoid cluttered backgrounds and preferably use a large aperture (shallow depth of field) to create a clear focus. Always use the highest possible resolution. - Book a photographer
If you cannot find the image you are looking for, book one of our procured photographers to take some new photos. - Order an illustration
The University has procurements with marketing and graphic production agencies who can help you with an illustration.
