Taking a screenshot/Print Screen
The following instructions describe how to take a screenshot/Print Screen.
A screenshot or Print Screen is a digital image of all or part of a screen at a given moment in time. Screenshots are most often used to show how a program or web page looks while in use.
To save, view or edit the screenshot, you must paste it into a program that can process images, such as a drawing program or word processor. Examples of programs in Windows can be Paint or Word.
Take a screenshot on a Windows computer
Screenshot of the full screen: Press the Fn key + Print Screen key (often abbreviated prt scr). The screenshot is saved in your computer's memory as a clipboard.
Screenshot only of the current program's window:
Press and hold Alt + Fn + Prt scr. The screenshot is saved in your computer's memory as a clipboard.

You can find the screen clipping tool under Start – Accessories – Screen clipping tool. You can use the tool to select the area of the screen you want to copy and then paste the image into a program.
Take a screenshot on a MacOS computer

Press and hold Command/⌘ + shift + 3. Screenshots are usually saved on the desktop in PNG format (this is configurable).
Screenshot of a selected area:
Press and hold Command/⌘ + shift + 4. Then press and hold the mouse button and drag across the area you want to take a screenshot of. Screenshots are usually saved on the desktop in PNG format (this is configurable).
Screenshot tool:
Press and hold Command/⌘ + shift + 5. The Screenshot tool allows you to take pictures of or record the screen. Read more aboout screenshot tools.
