Security

We want you to feel safe when you are here at Ångström laboratory. Our preventive security work includes everything from access systems and surveillance to fire protection work, decontamination of laboratories when moving and careful handling of chemicals and gases. Should the accident still occur, there are well-developed procedures to minimize the extent of the accident.

As a student, you contribute to a safer study environment by following the Ångström Laboratory's rules and guidelines. If you are a bit familiar with Swedish, the Uppsala University's safety calendar is a great resource for information on how to act in the event of serious incidents.
