About the course
String theory is a framework where the modern picture of the world at very high energies or very short distances is formulated. It describes the elementary particles of matter along with the particles mediating fundamental forces as vibrations of a string. In spite of the fact that this "music" represents frontline research, it is nevertheless possible to present a coherent picture of its foundations in this Master's course.
The course is a continuation of String Theory I.
