The field course has a specialisation towards geology. The course is intended to provide experience and training and experience in professional fieldwork for a future career.
The field course will cause costs for travel and accommodation for the student (1000 SEK). It is normally split into two parts in May: Utö in the Stockholm archipelago (ca 5 days) and Hamrånge, Gävleborg County (ca 10 days). The course cannot be taken at the same time as Field Course in Stratigraphy and Hydrology, 5 credits.
