About the course
This course is based on an outcome-centred product development process aimed at meeting a need to "get a job done for a customer/audience/player".
You are going to be introduced to an iterative or "looping" process of product development. This is a precis for design thinking that you will put to practical use through group work, in combination with individual theoretical work, to deepen your knowledge about product development while developing a product/game concept targeting a specific audience.
Prepare for a "hands-on" experience that will bring you from the needs of a population or audience at Gotland to an innovative solution (marketable product) that can be used and implemented by one or several interest group/s (private or public organisations/companies) that you will interact with during the course.
