Structured Hydrogels via 3D Bioprinting
I am interested in the design and 3D printing of tissue models that can be used to probe interesting questions about biology. The goal is to fabricate complex structures that mimic nature and then subject those structures to the same types of dynamics experienced within the body.
Background
I studied Microbial Biology during my bachelors, but quickly pivoted into instrumentation and electronics at my first job. I worked for a few years before going back to school to complete my masters in Biomedical Engineering. After my masters I joined a lab as a research engineer working on organ-on-chips.
