The G building (Residenset) at Strandgatan 1 contains teaching premises, special premises and workplaces for staff. The Department of Game Design currently occupies the G building.

G10 (Sound Studio) - Floor 1 - G Building

Our sound studio in room G10 can be used for recording lectures, recording podcasts, sound effect design, music composition, live streaming, etc.

The studio can be booked by students and staff through the reception at Campus Gotland or by sending and email to lokalbokning-cg@uu.se.

Study space - Floor 1 - G Building

Kitchenette and study space (for max 30 people). The kitchenette is equipped with microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery. Recycling under the sink and inside the entrance to floor 1.

G building - Floor 2

Floor 2 of the G building has two student workspaces, a Biometrics lab and facilities/offices for teachers and administrative staff at the Department of Game Design.

Defibrillator and First Aid

Defibrillator is located in the stairwell close to the elevator. There are also defibrillators in the B building (behind the reception desk), in the D building (ground floor), in the E building inside the entrance door to the llibrary and in the F building (inside the entrance door).

There is a First aid kit beside the defibrillator in the stairwell. There also First aid kits in the B building, opposite the elevators on the ground floor, and in the D building, on the ground floor beside the defibrillator.

G20 (student workspace) - floor 2 - G building

G20 with 30 seats, is one of the rooms that can be used by students for group work. G20 is not bookable (through TimeEdit). Instead, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

G20 har 30 platser och är ett av rummen där du som student (och din projektgrupp) kan använda för t ex studentarbeten. Rummet är inte bokningsbart utan det är "först till kvarn" som gäller.

G21 (student workspace) - floor 2 - G building

G21 with 15 seats, is one of the rooms that can be used by students for group work. G21 is not bookable (through TimeEdit). Instead, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Floor 3 of the G building has facilities/offices for teachers and administrative staff at the Department of Game Design.

G building - Floor 4

Floor 4 of the G building has a lecture hall (G41) and facilities/offices for teachers and administrative staff at the Department of Game Design.
