Description
EDIPI (European Weather Extremes: DrIvers, Predictability and Impacts) aims to advance our understanding of the dynamics, predictability, and impacts of temperature, precipitation (including drought), and surface wind extremes over Europe and the Mediterranean. By combining climate science, statistical mechanics, dynamical systems theory, and risk management, EDIPI aims to create a cohort of weather extremes experts equipped with both scientific and practical knowledge.
