The precise composition of a solar cell material is critical for understanding and
controlling its performance. BERTHA investigates this by producing samples containing a broad range of compositions (so called “combinatorial” samples). This project is using physical models of the sputtering process to determine how the deposit composition varies across each sample in real time, during sample synthesis
