Health Economics
Health is a valuable asset, both for the individual and for society at large. We are conducting research to increase our knowledge of new challenges around efficient and equitable resource utilisation, and access to health.
Description of our research
We conduct interdisciplinary research that is primarily based on the disciplines of economics and medicine, with links to other social sciences.
Our research questions concern efficiency, valuation and incentives in health care, and individuals' health-promoting activities. There is a focus on methods for evaluating medical and other health care interventions, on method development for reimbursement and pricing, on equitable access to care and health, and on the consequences of resource constraints.
