Research groups
The Department of Medical Sciences conducts clinical, preclinical and translational research in a number of different areas. Much of the research is carried out in connection with clinical activities at Uppsala University Hospital and includes both basic studies on the causes of disease and clinical application in the form of improved diagnostics and new treatment methods.
