Hälsa är en värdefull tillgång, både för individen och för samhället i stort. Vi bedriver forskning för att öka vår kunskap om nya utmaningar kring ett effektivt och jämlikt resursutnyttjande, och tillgång till hälsa.

Beskrivning av vår forskning

Vi bedriver tvärvetenskapliga forskningen som främst tar sin utgångspunkt i ämnena nationalekonomi och medicin, där det även finns kopplingar till andra samhällsvetenskapliga ämnen.

Våra forskningsfrågor rör effektivitet, värdering och incitament inom hälso- och sjukvård, och individers hälsobefrämjande aktiviteter. Ett fokus finns kring metoder för utvärdering av medicinska och andra interventioner inom hälso- och sjukvården, kring metodutveckling för ersättning och prissättning, kring jämlik tillgång till vård och hälsa, samt kring konsekvenser av resursbegränsningar.
