Description

Mental ill health affects 10-20% of children and youth worldwide. The consequences of mental ill health vary but, in many cases, there is a need for care and support for those who have been affected.

Care and support for children and youth with mental ill health involves many different stakeholders, within both regions and municipalities in Sweden. However, support is often fragmented, inefficient and unco-ordinated. Coordinating and integrating care and support provided by different stakeholders to the same target group is complex, but of utmost importance to improve for children and youth with mental ill health. This doctoral project examines what problems involved stakeholders experience regarding care and support, as well as experiences of participating in inter-organizational improvement work around the target group.
