Brandis labb

I vår grupp studerar vi molekylära mekanismer och evolutionär dynamik i prokaryota och eukaryota mikroorganismer. Vårt fokus ligger på proteinsyntes med kopplingar till klimatförändringar, antimikrobiell resistens och cancerutveckling. Vi arbetar både med bakterier och jästsvampar och är särskilt intresserade av att använda naturliga isolat utöver labbstammar. I våra projekt kombinerar vi högeffektiva metoder inom genteknik och evolution med bioinformatik och molekylära tekniker.
