Farmaceutisk cellbiologi
Beskrivning
Forskningsområdet består av fyra forskningsledare som arbetar med olika aspekter av cellbiologi; utveckling av nya molekylärbiologiska verktyg (professor Ola Söderberg), studier av vitamin D:s och andra steroiders roll i cellfunktion (universitetslektor Maria Norlin), analys av cellsignalering i tumörer (professor Johan Lennartsson) och oncoproteinet Myc (seniorprofessor Lars-Gunnar Larsson). Forskningsmiljön knyter samman dessa forskare, med olika expertis kring ett gemensamt mål: att förstå cellbiologi i hälsa och sjukdom och att använda denna kunskap för förbättrad diagnostik och terapi. Enheten arbetar med fyra huvudsakliga projekt: Metodutveckling, Vitamin D, cellsignalering och Myc.
