Psykologi vid hjärt-kärlsjukdom

Forskargruppen för psykologi vid hjärt-kärlsjukdom undersöker psykosociala aspekter av hjärt-kärlsjukdom. Till exempel studeras förekomsten av psykisk ohälsa vid hjärt-kärlsjukdom och psykologiska behandlingar för denna grupp utvärderas. Hantering av beteenderelaterade riskfaktorer är en stor utmaning för både primär och sekundär prevention. Vissa hjärtsjukdomar har speciella beteendemässiga utmaningar, till exempel vid Takotsubo, även känt som "Broken heart syndrome", är stress en viktig faktor.
