Forskning
Mitt forskningsområde rör utbildning, ojämlikhet och segregation, med särskilt fokus på social sortering kopplad till boende- och skolsegregation, familjers preferenser och skolval samt hur dessa processer relaterar till elevers utbildningsutfall och skolgång. Jag intresserar mig för hela utbildningsförloppet, från förskola till senare skolår. Jag använder huvudsakligen kvantitativa metoder, framför allt analyser av registerdata med spatiala och longitudinella ansatser, men arbetar även med enkätdata, diskreta valmodeller och mixed methods.
Jag är också en av forskningsledarna för Boende, utbildning och segregation (BUS), en mångvetenskaplig forskningsmiljö vid Institutionen för pedagogik, didaktik och utbildningssociologi, i samarbete med Institutet för bostads- och urbanforskning (IBF), som studerar relationen mellan boende, utbildning och segregation.
