Kort presentation
Dogukan Cansin Karakus serves as an Affiliated Visiting Researcher at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research and is a member of Working Group 2 on International Compliance with Nuclear Disarmament Regimes, led by Peter Wallensteen.
His research also examines intra-state conflict resolution—particularly ceasefires, mediation, and peace agreements—as well as riots and protests, with a focus on non-linear, short-term escalation dynamics, using experimental surveys and mixed-method approaches
