Kort presentation
Dan Larhammar, professor i molekylär cellbiologi sedan 1994. Erhöll apotekarexamen 1980, disputerade vid medicinska fakulteten 1984. Ledamot av Kungliga Vetenskapsakademien sedan 2007, Akademiens preses sedan 2018. Forskar inom områdena evolution, neurobiologi, endokrinologi och farmakologi. Har stort intresse för distinktionen mellan vetenskap och pseudovetenskap. Har handlett 22 doktorander till disputation. Forskningsgruppen har för närvarande tre medlemmar.
