ANFEC - Asian Network of Research on Food and Environment Contaminants

The Asian Network of Research on Food and Environment Contaminants (ANFEC) is a regional collaboration between three research groups at the Departments of Chemistry at:

• University of Dhaka, Bangladesh
• Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia
• National University of Laos, Laos

The network is coordinated by Dr Santi Kongmany, Center of Excellence in Environment, Research and Academic Service Office, National University of Laos.

ISP has supported the network since 2012.

Objectives

The network works to strengthen the research capacity, dispersion of the knowledge and experience in analysis of chemical contamination in food and environment through training programs, exchange visit and workshop/conferences for staff, technicians and students.
