Attractive innovation projects refer to projects or startups that have made significant progress on the path from idea to innovation, and have received support from UU Innovation in the early stages of development.
The Attractive Innovation Project award recognises the achievements of Uppsala University students, researchers, and staff who have successfully attracted users, customers, investors, or licensees to their projects. This accomplishment significantly enhances the development prospects of their innovative ideas.
The award is presented continuously, accompanied by diplomas, seasonally appropriate flowers, and vibrant red balloons.
We are working diligently to help more projects secure their first customer, obtain investment, or find a collaborative partner to further develop their ideas for the market. Our goal is to ensure that an increasing number of innovative concepts from Uppsala University make a meaningful impact and contribute to society.

Attractive Innovation Project Award 2025
Here, we will continuously showcase projects and startups that successfully achieve at least one significant milestone during the year, like securing an investment or making a customer sale, and that we have had the privilege of supporting in the early stages.
