About the course
The course provides opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in oral and written communication in relation to food and health. The different steps in the communication process, information sources, information barriers and vulnerable groups will be dealt with. Different communication methods are discussed in relation to dietary advice, nutrition recommendations and health claims. The course is conducted largely in the form of independent work in groups and individually adapted to the profession.
Outline for distance course: Communication between teachers and students take place through the virtual learning platform and email. Teaching includes mainly recorded lectures and discussion forums. The examination forms can consist of written assignments, take-home exams and oral presentations. This requires a computer with internet connection and a headset.
