The curriculum contains two alternative approaches up to year 1 period 3:
Option 1 is for students with no previous background in geophysics, e.g. students who have completed a
programme in Physics or a Bachelor's programme in Earth Sciences with a sufficient number of credits in physics and maths.
Option 2 is for students who have studied geophysics courses within the Bachelor's Programme in Physics with
specialisation in geophysics at Uppsala University.
