Litiumbatterier och bränsleceller för elfordon, mikrobatterier och litium-luftbatterier.
Vår forskning
Ångström Advanced Battery Centre (ÅABC) leds av professor Kristina Edström och är den största batteri-forskargruppen i Norden.
Vår forskning kretsar kring alla aspekter av litiumbatterier och bränslecellers kemi: Katod, anod och elektrolytmaterial. Tillämpningarna är framförallt litium-jonbatterier för elfordon, mikrobatterier och litium-luftbatterier.
Vi inom ÅABC arbetar med alla aspekter av litium-jon-batterier, från detaljerade studier av etablerade kommersiella material för utveckling av banbrytande, nya material.
Vi är också mycket aktiva i utvecklingen av nästa generation av elektrokemisk energilagringsteknik, inklusive natrium-jon, organiska batterier och litium-svavelbatterier.
