Biografi
Dr. Anna Sundborger-Lunna received a M.Sc degree in Medical Biology from Linköping University in 2005 and a PhD in Neuroscience from Karolinska Institutet in 2010. She joined the laboratory of Dr. Jenny Hinshaw at the National Institutes of Health in 2010 to study the mechanisms of dynamin-mediated membrane fission using cryo-EM and various biochemical and biophysical methods. Dr. Sundborger-Lunna was recruited to the University of Minnesota Hormel Institute in 2016 to establish a new state-of-the-art cryo-EM facility and joined the Uppsala University ICM faculty in 2021 to establish a new cryo-EM facility and to continue her work on elucidating structure-function of membrane remodelling proteins and their roles in mitochondrial dynamics and cellular degeneration.
