ISP Chemistry supports this group at Department of Chemistry, University of Rwanda (UR), since 2013. The activities are coordinated by Dr Théoneste Muhizi.

Objectives

The main goal of the research group is to improve the research capacity in the field of environmental chemistry and other related fields at the University of Rwanda (UR). The Chemistry Department at UR would like to emphasis the capacity and quality of its BSc graduates, as well as graduates from other academic institutions, by developing a research culture in environmental chemistry analysis. This goal will be achieved through the implementation of MSc and PhD programs in chemistry at the department.
