SEAMaN Laos - South-East Asia Mathematical Network

Today ISP only supports one node of SEAMaN:

• Department of Mathematics at National University of Laos in Laos

ISP support to the network started in 2015.

Objectives

This network aims to create, within a reasonable number of years, a critical mass of active researchers in areas of common interests (PDE, combinatorics, applied statistics and modeling and control) to contribute to the region's social and economic development.

Outside Academia, there is a significant demand for highly educated mathematical problem-solvers in the industry, financial sectors, insurance companies, and education and research centres.
