About us
The research group Caring sciences studies health throughout the life cycle. Projects conducted within the research group aims to improve quality of life, health and health care. We perform studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitate research methods, and conduct interventional studies to evaluate interventions aiming to improve care, health and quality of life.
The research group consists of individuals with various backgrounds, including nursing, psychology, physical therapy and public health.

Fertility and Sexuality following Cancer
The research program Fertility and Sexuality following Cancer (Fex-Can) investigates fertility and sexuality following a cancer diagnosis in young adulthood (18-39 years).

In collaboration with the Health and Care Administration at Uppsala municipality, the project focuses on language development projects in nursing homes

The project conducts research on patient safety, focusing on risk assessment of pressure ulcers.
