In two recently digitised collections you can find portraits of people who lived in Uppsala about 100 to 150 years ago.

The photographer Henri Osti’s large portrait collection from the late 19th to the early 20th century is being digitised. To date, over 4000 of Osti’s photographs have been published in Alvin. Another photo collection that also has been digitised is a smaller portrait collection from the 1920s, which origin is unknown, but probably has belonged to Ateljé Hagberg. In both collections you may find portraits of people who used to live in Uppsala or just visited Uppsala during the period 1880-1929.
