New AI4Teknat Initiative Invites Researchers to Apply for Seed Funding
AI4Teknat is a five‑year faculty‑wide initiative to raise the overall use and competence of modern AI/ML techniques across the Faculty of Science and Technology. The initiative is now launching a call for researchers to take the next step and use AI in your research. Apply for seed funding for a project before 29 April.
AI4Teknat aims to make research more competitive by ensuring that both senior and junior researchers develop practical AI/ML skills and can collaborate across disciplinary boundaries. The initiative will coordinate faculty-wide efforts, announce seed funding opportunities, and organize introductory and advanced courses, as well as targeted dissemination activities in the form of lectures, seminars, and workshops. A dedicated implementation group will drive coordination, identify needs and resources, and support bottom-up engagement.
Calls for seed funding supporting research projects, course development as well as organisation of workshops and seminars will be launched over the coming 5 years to build a sustainable and interconnected AI-capable research community at Teknat.
