Educational development
Outstanding education depends on highly engaged, staff, who reflect on the role of pedagogy, promote educational renewal and are open to new ideas and methods.
Students encounter an inspiring and challenging education and develop their skills and competencies in a secure environment which emphasises the importance of student's contribution to the educational experience.
TUR, the Council for Educational Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology, provides support and guidance for the faculty's pedagogical development work. TUR organises courses, seminars, workshops and conferences, leads networks, contributes to studies and provides tailored support to educational leaders and teachers, educational programmes and departments. Seminars and workshops
The Council for Educational Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology organises a number of seminars and workshops each semester. The theme varies depending on hot topics and requests.
The seminars are usually centred on a specific topic that is discussed based on research and proven experience. The workshops are more practically oriented.
Recurring workshops are given for applications to TUFF - Funding for pedagogical development, pedagogical portofolios and for applications for promotion as distinguished university teachers.
Networks for pedagogical development
The Council for Educational Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology runs a series of networks for further pedagogical development. The network meetings give opportonity for the participants to meet, exchange experiences and discuss current opportunities and problems together.
Network for pedagogical leaders
This network is specifically aimed at pedagogical leaders such as head of research programs, subject coordinators, directors of studies and heads of department, since the collaboration between these is important for successful pedagogical development work.

This network brings together teachers who are interested in visiting, discussing and developing each other's teaching practice in collegial forms.

This network represents the Faculty of Science and Technology's pedagogical academy, and we gather our faculty's distinguished university teachers for exchange of ideas dna indepth dscusttions.

All of the recipents of current year's TUFF funds get together in this network for exchange of ideas and support.

The Faculty's pedagogical conference (TUK)
Participate in the Faculty of Science and Technology's annual conference on pedagogical development in science and technology education.
Support for institutions and programmes
The University Pedagogical Council of the Faculty of Science and Technology provides tailored support to programmes, departments, teaching teams, teachers, pedagogical leaders and student representatives. The Council designs activities for teacher days, short courses and workshops shaped by local needs. Contact Maja Elmgren for questions.

Discipline-based education research (MINT)
MINT is an interdisciplinary centre that supports discipline-based education research, within all disciplines of the domain.
