Science and Technology faculty funding for pedagogical development

You are invited to apply for funding for pedagogical development projects within the Faculty of Education at undergraduate and graduate level (not postgraduate education). With this call, the faculty wants to initiate and support projects for pedagogical development of programmes, stand-alone courses and courses in lifelong learning, both on campus and at a distance. The faculty also invites more overarching projects aiming to develop methods and routines to support pedagogics and taking current needs and trends into consideration.

Involvement of relevant actors, national or international, such as alumni is seen as positive. The funds come from the Faculty of Science and Technology's university pedagogical renewal fund, TUFF. Project funding is not granted for course development; there must be a clear new pedagogical idea.

The sum to be distributed is SEK 2.1 million. Funds are mainly granted for staff costs. Funds for other major costs are only granted in exceptional cases.

  • Benefit to the subject, programme, faculty and society

  • Those responsible for the project participate in the dissemination of the project within the faculty at at least one event, e.g. a conference at faculty level (TUK), national/international conference or learning day no later than in the calendar year after the project is completed.
