- Identify and formulate adequate project goals
- Develop sufficient planning in order to control and communicate project progress
- Identify and develop relevant project control measures
- Make assessments of project organization, risks and stake holder needs
- Demonstrate specialised insight into project management challenges and requirements for basic and applied research, intra-academic research collaboration and academy-industry collaboration

Course contents
Some of the topics studied during the course are:
- Project objectives, Project planning & Follow-up
- Project organization, communication & follow-up
- Project as work environment – leadership & stress
Instruction
The course consists of lectures, seminars, and group work. Active participation in seminars is expected.
Assessment
The examination consists of a group presentation and completion of a chosen project in project managment.
