Educational networks
The Council for Educational Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology runs a series of networks for further pedagogical development. The network meetings give opportunity for the participants to meet, exchange experiences and discuss current opportunities and problems together.
Network for the Faculty’s Educational Leaders
This network is specifically aimed at educational leaders such as programme directors, subject coordinators, directors of studies, and heads of department, as collaboration among these roles is important for successful educational development. Together with the Vice Dean for Education and the chairs of the three educational committees, TUR organises two network meetings per year.

Network for Distinguished University Teachers –
Academy for Educational Excellence
TekNat’s Academy for Educational Excellence brings together the faculty’s distiguished university teachers for the exchange of ideas, strategic discussions, and in-depth conversations. The network normally holds one spring and one autumn meeting, beginning with a seminar followed by a post-seminar for continued exchange.

Network for TUFF Recipients
The year’s recipients of TUFF funding gather in this network for exchange of ideas and support. The network usually meets four times per year. These meetings focus on discussing the projects’ pedagogical ideas as well as their evaluation, dissemination, and sustainability.

Network for communication
Within this network, teachers and educational leaders interested in working with communication training within the Faculty of Science and Technology collaborate.

Network for collegial peer observation
This network brings together teachers who are interested in visiting, discussing, and developing each other’s teaching in collegial forms. The network is temporarily replaced by an opportunity to receive guidance from a pedagogical mentor from TUR.
