Ekologi och evolution av växters reproduktion och pollinering

Min grupp studerar växternas mångfald och evolution, med särskild fokus på utvecklingen av reproduktions-strategier och artbildning. Vårat övergripande mål är att förstå hur ekologiska, genetiska och evolutionära processer interagerar för att generera den fantastiska mångfalden av blommande växter. För att tackla detta huvudmål använder vi en kombination av fält- och växthusexperiment, genomik, fylogenetik, biomekanik och teoretiska modeller.
Våra projekt inkluderar:
- Ekologin, biomekaniken och utvecklingen av surrpollinering
- Evolution av blomform och funktion
- Hybridisering, genomduplicering och artbildning i introducerade blommor (Mimulus spp., Phrymaceae)
