BUP Supervisor Training Week 2027
The Baltic University Programme (BUP) invites colleagues from BUP participating universities to join this Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focusing on academic supervision. The event will take place on 10-14 May 2027 in Uppsala, Sweden.
The training will combine virtual components with a five-day physical mobility at Uppsala University. The main aim of the BUP Supervisor Training Week is to exchange knowledge, grow professionally, and further develop a strong collegial network of supervisors who collaborate, learn from one another, and share experiences in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
This training is part of the BUP Supervisor Collegium initiative, which aims to bring together colleagues who supervise PhD and Master’s students. Through meetings, workshops, and lectures, the Collegium strengthens supervisory competence and fosters sustainable international collaboration.
The BUP Supervisor Training Week 2027 will be coordinated and hosted by Uppsala University and organised in collaboration with the University of Latvia, the Technical University of Ostrava, and Brandenburg Medical School (MHB).
The training week is intended for:
- doctoral supervisors,
- thesis supervisors,
- teachers and researchers involved in student supervision,
- academic staff interested in developing their supervisory practice.
Please note that the application can close before the deadline since places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis if there are applicants from all 10 BUP countries.
