Uroradiology
Research group leader: Per Liss
The uroradiological research emanates from radiological diagnostics and physiological examinations of the urinary tract and reproductive system. The purpose of the research is to improve the understanding of different diseases, their development and how they can be treated. The uroradiological research group works with a wide range of diseases ranging from different types of cancer to public health diseases e.g. kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. The group uses several different types of radiographic modalities with a focus on computerized tomography and multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging.
Collaborations:
The uroradiological research group has close collaborations with researchers at the Department of Medical Cell Biology at Uppsala University, at Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre at University of Nottingham and at the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University.
