Borrowing and returning books
Borrow and return
A self-service machine for loans is available at level K1 (basement). Another machine for both borrowing and returning is located on the entrance level (level 0) by the right entrance (enter from Lägerhyddsvägen). After returning material in the machine, please place it in the book-drop. You can also return books borrowed at our other libraries.
Your loans are renewed automatically where possible.
Books for pickup
Books that you have requested or queued for can be found on a shelf on the right-hand side of the book-drop (entrance level).
Interlibrary loans and articles
Interlibrary loans do not need to be registered in the self-service machine. If you are an employee at Uppsala University, copies of articles are sent via internal mail.
