Biography
My PhD project involved the planning, development, and evaluation of internet-mediated stepped care with psychosocial support and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The project aimed to study the effects of the self-help program on anxiety and depression symptoms as well as health-related quality of life in patients with trauma resulting from somatic illness. After the dissertation, psychotherapy studies, and clinical work with women who have been subjected to intimate partner violence and/or sexual abuse, the research focus has shifted to clinically relevant factors related to trauma resulting from intimate partner violence and post-separation abuse.
