Biography
Eric Skoog is a Researcher at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research. He earned his PhD from the department in March 2020. He has a background in Behavioural Economics, and received his Master's degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2012. He takes an evolutionary approach to conflict, investigating how behaviours adapted to ancestral environments affect current attitudes, decision making and strategic considerations in conflict situations. His research approaches these questions both from a theoretical point of view, and by empirically testing them using lab and field experiments.
