Short presentation
Jenniina Kotajoki is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. Her current research concerns international interventions and civil war dynamics, focusing especially on rebel governance. Her dissertation project investigates interactions between non-state armed groups and the United Nations. She has previously conducted research on violent extremism, electoral violence and security sector reform with a special focus on prisons.
