Short presentation
PhD student in historical linguistics. Room number 9-3033, Engelska parken.
Research
I'm interested in the mathematical and statistical modelling of language change and in language documentation.
Talks on conferences and workshops:
2024; with Tilo Wiklund: “Dollo” after all? Puzzling behaviour of models of vocabulary evolution can be explained by effects of ascertainment correction
2023; with Harald Hammarström: Explorations in grammatochronology
2023; with Oscar Billing and Tilo Wiklund: Using simulated data to evaluate models of Indo-European vocabulary evolution
2021; with Tilo Wiklund: Why we need more study of models, not data, in computational historical linguistics
