Biography
I defended my thesis on petitions submitted to the Swedish Riksdag in 2016, you can find the thesis here. My academic interests range from diplomatic history in the Mediterranean in the eighteenth century to the development of the informal and formal credit markets in Sweden and Finland the early twentieth century. I usually mix influences from social, economic, political and administrative history in my research as I think that particular mix yields the most interesting results. I am currently investigating the Swedish consular service in eighteenth century Spain as well as the introduction of fiat currencies in early modern Sweden and Finland.
