Short presentation
I am a concert pianist, musicologist, and postdoctoral researcher in the Engaging Vulnerability program. My doctoral work and subsequent scholarly activities have focused on the convergence of music and cinema, with an emphasis on the films of Ingmar Bergman. I'm particularly interested in film as musical interpretation, the intersection of music and violence onscreen, and the influence of musical structure, method, and history on approaches to filmmaking.
