Short presentation
My research is focused mainly around understanding the behaviour of fusion-relevant materials, e.g. tungsten and boron, as well as their interactions with fusion fuel species and contaminants.
I use the facilities of the Tandem Laboratory to synthesize, modify and analyze the materials by methods such as magnetron sputter deposition, ion-beam analysis techniques and electron microscopy.
