Short presentation

Broadly speaking, my research interests lie in urban, cultural and legal geography, with an emphasis on graffiti, street art and advertising in London. I’m particularly interested in (a) the mobilisation of place-based legal mechanisms in urban planning policy, (b) visual analyses of the creative economy and (c) the development of hand-painted advertising.

I'm currently a co-convenor of the Urban Surfaces Research Network.
