Short presentation

Yunting Xie is a PhD student in business history at the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University. She has background in history and digital humanities. She is conducting her doctoral research on the project "From Invention to Innovation: Novelty, Impact, and Value of Patents in 20th-Century Sweden”, supervised by Prof. Fredrik Tell, Associate Prof. Matti La Mela and Dr. David Andersson. Her research employs digital methods to explore Swedish patent history within a global context.

Currently, my research focuses on languages of innovation, patent intermediation in markets for technology and the application of AI and computational methods in history of innovation.
