Biography
Dr. Mukesh Pandey graduated in Physics from the University of Delhi, India, in 2017. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar, India, in 2024.
Research
His domain of research expertise is the nano- and microscale adhesion mechanics and strain engineering of two-dimensional (2D) materials: graphene & beyond.
Ph.D. Thesis title: Mechanical instabilities in the blistering and buckling of polymer-supported two-dimensional materials: graphene and beyond
His current research interests include 2D material heterostructures, focused beams of charged particles, nanoengineering (strain and defect), nanoelectronics, and gas sensors.
